Williams is a good anchor. I think his delivery is just fine. My problem is that since taking over the show, at least night, he has used his power to help out a friend's son. Had he tried that when he was filling in for Tom the staff would have told him, "Sorry, but that's not news."
Now that everyone works for him they let him get away with stuff like that. If he did it last night, how many other times has he done something like that since December? I simply cannot trust him anymore |

But I can't see how anyone who knows anything about this business can say he is a "good anchor." He spends so much time trying to play "heavyweight" anchor that he fails to communicate in an effective way.
