He has the most "rehearsed" delivery in any size market. He is always trying to be something. Ya know how the TV Gods alwasy preach that the best anchors speak as as if they were your friend sitting next to you? Well imagine Willaims sitting next to you, talking to you with crinkled face and trying so hard to give his voice that "anchor" tone. Dude, you can't always try to hard. Heis absolutely tough to watch,,and no where near top-dog anchor material. |

Williams is a good anchor. I think his delivery is just fine. My problem is that since taking over the show, at least night, he has used his power to help out a friend's son. Had he tried that when he was filling in for Tom the staff would have told him, "Sorry, but that's not news."
Now that everyone works for him they let him get away with stuff like that. If he did it last night, how many other times has he done something like that since December? I simply cannot trust him anymore
