...the people on here complaining about the show but claiming they've NEVER seen the show and refuse to waste their time on it. If that's the case -- how do you know it's junk tv? And why do you care enough to comment on this thread?
For the record, I (and my daughter) watch fairly regularly. We can turn it off, we don't regularly vote. We have fun with the show. It's entertainment -- that's about all. Actually, the singing is entertainment. Ryan has gotten almost unbearable for me to watch. Can't stand his jabs at Simon that are so trite and almost seem based on "inside" stuff between them. I hate the audience always booing Simon -- who actually LISTENS to the singers and their vocal quality. I can't stand Paula gushing over every singer and never saying anything constructive (I don't care who "looks" like a star -- this is supposed to be about singing).
Finally, do I believe Cory? Probably to some extent. Come on, his parents talked about how many times Paula would call their house. I think he was in love with her, she had her fun and cut him loose, and he's a bit peeved about it -- PLUS he has a CD and book to sell.
