any idea about the pay for reporters and anchors in the Panama City area?

Not as bad as some starter markets...reporters will be right at 20k-ish, on air "beginner" talent (weekend WX, SPTS, etc) will be a bit more. Anchors are based, as always, on shift and experience, but it's not bad...and you take home more than you think because there is no state income tax in FL. However, be warned, cost of living in PC is pretty high right now, and real estate is going thru the roof. Been here for several years now, and my house has appreciated about 240% in the last 3 yrs. I will say that it is a great place to get your feet wet...I love living here...I might just stay for a while.
