just so you know, waco temple killeen is split up from the bryan area. this is a very large sprawling market. Bryan and Waco are in the same market, but most people really don't consider them in the same region.
kwtx has sister station kbtx.
kxxv has a smaller version in krhd.
kcen has a repeater station kmay, but the news is all from the waco area.
Weekend photog is right - Waco and Killeen (fort hood) tend to be in the national spotlight quite a bit.
on the waco side, you can expect 18-19 thousand starting out for both producers and reporters. maybe a little higher with experience - and depending on the station.

kwtx will only pay 15-16 for reporters or producers. if money is a factor then you're better off at one of the other stations. however, kwtx puts out a good product. they're also getting a new set (maybe that explains the pay situation)
