It's dry here in the desert at this time of year! The risk of serious wildfires is high. To me, it's something I want to know -- particularly if I live in the general vicinity.
We may joke sometimes about covering fires. However, one time I woke up and turned the TV on and the fire was in MY apartment complex. After that, I never criticized covering fires.
