Topic Name: OK PBS Losing Viewers Message Name: OK PBS? Date Posted: 05/06/2005 In Reply To: The latest numbers from the Oklahoma Legislature indicate that the Oklahoma PBS affiliate is losing record numbers of viewers as the median age of the state drops. Unnamed state representatives have indicated a desire to "take a look at state funding for the often "left leaning" entity." There has been no response from the new PBS Director. He is said to be still fighting allegations of abuse of the state computer system by a documentary department member formerly charged with sexual abuse charges. Message: From what I understand their numbers don't even show up in the ratings. It appears even Lawrence Welk can't save the sinking ship. Legislators should look at the use of millions of tax payer dollars being used on this black hole.
