From what I could tell, lots of homes, barns, sheds, cars, horses, etc. were at risk of burning. More than 100 structures in all.
I'd say that's a fairly good lead, for a Thursday night.

I'm the first person to "not" defend the actions of 12 but this is why they call it "local" news. You see, a whole bunch of deaths in Iraq is a big deal on the network news but when viewers watch local news, they want local news. I agree with some of the previous posters, it was great video. Did it really treaten any homes or structures, probably not but who cares. Fire has always been a big deal to residents of Arizona and this summer it will be no different. I would have done maybe 3-4 minutes on it and then moved on. As always, just my opinion.
