Topic Name: What makes a meteorologist? Message Name: Forget the met thing Date Posted: 05/06/2005 Message: Who really cares anyway. I mean why do we talk about this so much and expect to put these people to such a higher standard. We don't care if someone calls themself a journalist without going to Journalism School. Should a J-School degree be something that sets a standard as well??? As long as someone can get the information out they work for me. Some hardcore mets that I've met have no business presenting the weather on TV.
