With Yuma. While it may not be the most fabulous place around, it is 2.5 hrs from both San Diego and Phoenix. You'll cover a lot of decent news stories--like border issues, drug busts, etc. Last few reporters/anchors who left went to great markets like Sacramento, Phoenix, San Diego, etc. Wherever you go, make sure you work your butt off and put in 110%. That's what's going to get you into a bigger and better market.
