Sure it's a crappy little south texas town, 200th market. But I got my first job as anchor there and had the time of my life.
Banged my co-anchor, my weather gal, and a reporter in less than a year. And we all stayed friends!
Big fish in a small kind of thing. And I jumped from there to Cincinnati (35th market) in just one year.
The beach is less than an hour away, and Austin, a great party town is just two hours away. Cost of living is dirt cheap.
