boot... my children are the way they are because as a parent i have sacrificed willingly and with great love so that i could maximize their chances of having a decent honest and compassionate life... sometimes i think i'm raising victims rather than perps but they will be part of the solution... and yes boot aberrations occur but i believe if you communicate with your children on a level that they will listen too and comprehend, cooperation will follow... gray is good and i acknowledge it okay.... great color for car in the fog of
the san francisco area...and as an european mixed with cherokee.... if that makes a difference... we are all people... and i have no poisonous anger... just a fact... europeans came and disrupted an existing lifestyle both thru genocide and disease... then cart the indigenous peoples of the americas to unhabitable stretches of desert... they fooled us by finding uranium and coal...now casinos... you go my indigenous brothers and sisters... i have no poisonous anger, just an awareness of the situation...life is simple boot: keep it simple, love, show compassion, tolerance, eschew attachment...and remember television ultimatley is nothing but a job.... |

We really don't disagree. And your love for your children is clear.
All I was trying to suggest--probably poorly--is that the culture in which we now live does not reinforce parents who want their children to be responsible: sexually, morally, professionally.
If yours are, grand. But let's suppose there are parents just as responsible as you who--for whatever reason--can't compete so well with the popular, no-consequences culture.

Have you no sympathy for the less lucky ones? Parents and children?
