Is it Browning from KPVI? I know he's applied (or at least expressed interest) in this side of the state before.
One thing that has to be appealing to him: with 47,000 openings in the newsroom, he (if it's him) can bring in some of "his people" right away to help plug up the leaks.
I believe it'd be his first time as an ND (someone feel free to hop in and correct me if I'm wrong). If so, track record doesn't seem to favor him... not many 1st-time NDs that I can think of in the market that have fared too well. Hopefully for KBCI's sake, he reverses that trend. |

Saw the official release yesterday. Hope he knows what a mess he's going to. Hate to but must agree with Checkers. 1st timers don't do well here. I think he's going to get slaughtered. Too bad. Nice guy.
