We heard that across the street from our place the ND at The "Q" read the entire newsroom the riot act after the Runaway Bride weekend.Rumor has it that no one showed up until aftre we and 7 were already on the story?What's the deal?Is the rating war getting to the "Q"?We hear there were even threats to take way phones and cars,which makes no sense most people would say "go ahead and do that,that way you really won't be able to call me then"!There's some solid pros at the "Q" and great people there and with the lack of staff they have what would be the purpose of threats.What's the deal? |

To the previous posting, I say, "Good for KRQE!"
-Good for not pandering to a ridiculous story that should have been nothing more than a VO on the morning "news" shows.
-Good for taking the high road, unlike 4 and 7, and having some good news judgement and not pandering to crappy "news". (Although, unfortuantely, they jumped on the bandwagon like the other two "news" stations in town.)
For anyone who refused to stoop to breathlessly covering such a banal story about a PERSONAL issue, I want to say "thank you."
Every day, I find more reasons to watch Channel 13...the least of which is because I'm tired of 4 and 7 trying to "out-POP" each other.
