If we're never going to allow those who have done their time behind bars to re-create a normal life because we're constantly rubbing their face in their past mistakes...why not just impose the death penalty on all sex offenders?
If we're not going to let 'em live, we may as well just make 'em die.
Seems like it would make a lot of you happier.

was abducted, raped, killed during all the mindless hoopla over the already-dead Teri Schiavo. Got scarcely a mention then.
Took another child murder and previously convicted sex offender to register on the collective journalistic
"brain".
I've worked as a reporter quite a few years now, and have covered several cases of kids raped/murdered by pedophile sex offenders who had already been tagged by the system. Convicted, imprisoned, released.
As a grizzzled old cop once told me, they're model prisoners cause ain't no seven-year old boys in prison.
So they're released on Good Behavior.
Little Lunsford's death was a story about The System really truly failing. Teri Schiavo was not.
Makes me wonder who's running the "news" shop. People with no children? Crazed, robotic workaholics who can't distinguish a real news story from whatever the herd is chasing?
Yes and yes, I suspect.
