When the first Fla. case happened I checked the local registry. damn if one of the registered guys doesn't live a few blocks from my house. It is information I am happy to have since I have a 7 year-old daughter. I think these stories are important and I think the public's right to know far outweighs the sex offender's right to privacy. Sorry, but if you commit a crime like this, maybe its right that you pay for it for the rest of your life. |

If we're never going to allow those who have done their time behind bars to re-create a normal life because we're constantly rubbing their face in their past mistakes...why not just impose the death penalty on all sex offenders?
If we're not going to let 'em live, we may as well just make 'em die.
Seems like it would make a lot of you happier.
