(at least according to folks still there) the same.
Morale low.. waiting for some buyer on a white horse to come save everyone.
EX: (complete memo from ND to all shooters) "When it rains, shoot rain. Don't wait to be told."
Even if shooters needed to be reminded.. wouldn't a better solution be talking to the chief photog and not insulting the intellegence of some very talented employees?

preceed the event...yes morale is low...yes they are reducing engineering staff... three/four in house editors left plus three crew chiefs left... all to edit seven days a week seven newscasts per day... that must be lots of fun and a real morale builder.... all the journeypeople have left save a few...greg lyon, craig franklin, don ford, lou d'aria, eight to ten editors... all in the last year... gone.... but i ask... where is it better? abc o & o's have been trying to reach some mythical proportion of engineers to management.... i think they are looking for three managers to each union employee... then there's daily hires... willie nelson sang, "momma's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys..." if i could sing i would give the same advice but change cowboys to television employees.... good for those who can live at home but by the time you're 30/35 you better be indespensible or your are toast... bon chance mes amis
