Murderers. Rapists. Drug dealers. White collar bastards who clean thousands of people out of their hard-earned pensions. One tour of duty behind bars doesn't fix any of them.
So why DON'T we revisit those crooks, too?
Because pedophiles are a cheap and easy way to scare people into watching TV, and - while we're on the topic - into enacting legislation. Jeb signed 'cause it's easy brownie points. News directors do these stories 'cause it's easy ratings. Period.
