My understanding is, thanks in large measure to the .com side of things, MSNBC is making a modest profit or at least breaking even. If that's the case then NBC will continue it. |

Just having an outlet on all those cablesystems makes the channel a valuable asset in the NBC stable.
The trick is to get people to care enough to watch it.
Keith's show is something different and well done.
I happen to like Dan's show as well. But beyond that...it's amazing they can't do etter.
To an extent that's a reflection of the lack of imagination under outgoing management.
And the news "talent" and presenation are soooooo boring.
