JRH's numbers look better than they have in years. I don't know if they'll cause any upsets by the end of the May book, but it looks like the momentum is swelling down in Brookside. I don't know if the problem solvers are the secret to their success though. OKI has the same gimmick, and personally, I think they do it better. JRH's problems never seem to get solved, but Lowry, Jones, Hurst or another offers ONE possible solution. But what if that doesn't work? They still have the problem. And what's with that "Problem Solved" chime? Nevertheless, Channel 2 is a lot more solid than their years of bad ratings would lead one to believe. |
