Stu seems to think harassment is only defined by a request for sex...Harrassment can be harassment without being sexual, silly man...Hostile work environments may or many not have nothing to do with sex...geez..talk about being obtuse... |

Stu, you need to do a little research of your own.
Obviously you don't understand the definitions of:
parody
satire
lampoon
sexual harrassment
libel
defamation
hostile work environment
Imus was not practicing his comedy act on Contessa Brewer. He was not lampooning, he was not being satirical. He launched a retaliatory verbal assault on the woman because she pissed him off. His attack was done with malice. It's obvious he intended to discredit her, to harm her reputation. He acted spitefully.
He's a bully who threw a tantrum because she dared speak against him. Imus doesn't believe he's accountable for anything he says. His ego drives him beyond civilized boundaries.
You seem to believe that just because Imus didn't apologize he isn't liable for anything. Imus will never apologize because he's an egocentric bully. He surrounds himself with butt kissing yes-men because he can't handle anyone who challenges him.
It's common knowledge that Imus resented MSNBC placing one of their own on his program. He went out of his way to bully them off the show. Amy Robach bailed out quickly. Contessa hung tough. That pissed Imus off so he increased the pressure. He and his goons purposely harrassed her with crude sexual innuendo and lewd comments. He crossed the line of common decency over and over. He finally resorted to demanding she leave the show.
He claims he kept his mouth shut about it because he was being a nice guy. It's obvious he didn't want to admit that he couldn't bully her off the show and he had to run to msnbc management. His ego couldn't accept that he was unable to chase her off.
He really lost it when she called him an old fool and her comments were made public.
Face it, Stu, your boy can't handle criticism. I find it amusing that every time someone questions his motives for his ranch project, or his wife is criticized he's the first to start screaming lawsuit. Now that's funny.
