they are called "krud-oh" by their competition, the stations in nearby Denver and, quite frankly, their own employees. And it has little to do with their call letters.
That being said, I've had friends who worked there... and while they may have clawed and scraped to escape, most of them said it served their purposes of getting noticed, and moving on.
