Here's my advice: Definitely come here because it's a fabulous city, but don't try to work in TV here. None of the stations are all that well-run. KRUDO is by far the worst, but KKTV and KOAA aren't all that much better. Good people at those stations, tho. Just very green reporting/producing/photogs. Unless you're the GM or station owner, you won't make any money. |

I know, you hear it all the time about stations...but seriously, stay away from KRDO. Affectionately known, by even its own employees, as KRUDO.
The station, more specifically the owners and general manager, have a reputation known across the country as some of the worst in the nation.
Don't go there. Most places have about a 60-70% ratio of former employees who won't say anything nice about their former employer. KRDO former employees who think poorly of the Hoths and the way they run the station probably range in the 90-95%.
