"And it seems NOW FNC is more worried about taking down the network news divisions. Check out this quote in a NEW AP story about Jon Klein.
'Our focus is on beating the broadcast networks,' Fox spokesperson Irena Briganti says in the story. 'We wish Jon well in his battle for second place with MSNBC.'"
The first part is interesting because who is to say that FNC won't be able to compete with the big 3? Would you bet against FNC? I sure wouldn't.
Regarding the second part, it is harsh but very true. The ratings do not lie. CNN annd MSNBC are so far off the radar, it is only natural for FNC to look ahead and not behind. |

Compete with the networks? You can admire their bluster, but they don't have much else.
Average newscast rating is what? And their trend is down...
