Not sure if it is or is not a classic case of a hostile work place however I don't believe the SNL comparisons are valid.
SNL and other shows that are heavy in satire poke fun at others outside the show therefore don't make it uncomfortable for SNL employees to come to work each day. They are all part of the same team with their humor aimed at people in the public eye but not at others within the team and not those in their own rank...
You can argue all day long about hostile or not hostile but at least use better comparisons.
No one is required to submit to demeaning behavior regardless of the type of work place...satire or no satire...
Still wondering why Detroit Boy thinks it's okay for that type of behaviour without consent...hmmm...Sounds like he is a lawsuit waiting to happend as well... |
