This is a sexual harrassment case if ever there was one.
Talk about a hostile work environment....mercy.
Art and humour are to be defended but it needs to stay within the law, like anything else.
The best thing to do is to turn the channel or station, as more people obviously did in the winter book. All talk shows took hits, but Imus' show took a much bigger hit than you'd expect.
The marketplace will soon speak. |

At 7:12 AM EDT Imus went after Contessa again:
"Here's the lesson, if you worked with us and you leave the show and I take the high road and I don't say anything, the best advise for you is to shut-up, if you go shoot your mouth off, it's like poking a hornet nest and then it's going to be a nightmare."
"I was talking to Rick Kaplan on my cellphone and was laughing so hard, I said lets get her on the set and measure her ass."
Imus claimed to be a victim.
No lawsuit will happen, there's no sexual harrassment.
Imus did not request any
sexual favors as a condition for being on his show. Check with your legal department.
