I'm no lawyer, but I believe in order for there to be grounds for a lawsuit (slander) they would have to had said something that was factual and found to be in error, i.e. "she absconded a million dollars from a bank"
All they have been saying is opinion, and you can't sue for opinion. Don Imus is a very smart man who knows the ins and outs of what he can/can't say to avoid a lawsuit people |

This is a sexual harrassment case if ever there was one.
Talk about a hostile work environment....mercy.
Art and humour are to be defended but it needs to stay within the law, like anything else.
The best thing to do is to turn the channel or station, as more people obviously did in the winter book. All talk shows took hits, but Imus' show took a much bigger hit than you'd expect.
The marketplace will soon speak.
