Dear stoppromotingstupidty,
I am sorry if the trush is something you don't want to hear. As much as you are disgusted by what was said about Ms. Brewer, I would hope that you can see that nothing will happen to Don Imus other than give him material for the next week.
The Imus in the Morning Program is bigger than anything on MSNBC. You can state the numbers are down, MSNBC would kill to have the amount of viewers who tune in to hear Imus on the radio on a daily basis.
Ms. Brewer should have known what she was getting into before she joined the show. Would I like Imus to say about me what he said about Contessa, of course not. Should she have said what she was quoted to as saying in the NY Post, of course not either.
Now as a 32 year old senior producer in Boston (don't let Detroit fool you it's just where I am from) perhaps I am a kid as you say. But I am a damn successful one. I also have seen these things play out.
Imus won't be suspended and he won't be sued. You can complain all you want...you are wasting your holier than thou breathe. Fight for whatever you like, but know nothing will happen to him.
As a matter of fact, if Ms. Brewer tries to sue Imus we all know her career will be over at MSNBC. Who will they back the host of the simulcast morning drive show or a random news reader who stirs up controversy?
Now how am I over my head when what I say is the truth? You might hate it...you might want to see him fired. This isn't Mike Savage. He doesn't fall under NBC News banner. Imus won't get any backlash from management. Kick your feet...stomp away. Nothing is happening to him.
I am afraid you just don't like what is called reality. The last thing I am is over my head. Hell I might just fire someone over 44 tomorrow and dedicate it to you. You are too old to realize this business anymore and the next generation is pushing you aside. I hope you lose your job and your kids have to go to community college since dad is a failure. |

I see that I was right on the money when I called you a kid. You write and reason like a junior high student. At least that's what I thought until I read your latest post. Now I'm sure you're a junior high school drop out.
It's pointless to argue with someone going through puberty, so I'll just say that it looks like your hero Iman got the message that he'd better shut his yap or face the consequences. He and his little buddies were quite whipped today. The Big "I Man" looked like he'd been kicked to the curb.
Maybe you'd better find yourself another hero, junior. Imus folded like a cheap suit.
Now, go ride your bike and please wear a helmet. I don't think you can take another head injury.
