i once got a very negative job performance review.. (and later became trhe first in a series of reporters who got whacked at the shop- one per week for 7 straight weeks)..)
because.. and i STILL find this impossible to believe.."your stories have too many facts in them"..HUH?????? |

It IS possible to have too many facts in a TV news story...too many that it causes confusion and destorys the purpose of the reportage.
Stories need to be linear..and organized...and "edited"...
Now...before you get all "tight"..I think I know what you are talking about..because I have had those producers and EP's, too...but
just for the record..you CAN have too many facts jammed into a story.
