This of course can't be the REAL Herb Block, and it's kind of tacky playing that race card. (And bulemia card, etc.)
It's a GREAT story, altho whether it's worth distracting time from local stories is debatable. |

No -- its not the real Herb Block, but one who loved his work and one who impressed someone actually noticed the handle.
As for playing the race card, I'm not much of a card player. I'm just someone who works in the business who knows this story wouldn't get much play at my place unless an attractive white female was the main character. Nothing racist about it -- just true.
As for it being a great story, then you haven't been watching soaps.
