there's nothing like willfully missing the point.
it's a comedy show...wow.
in case you didn't understand, let's go over again.
contessa (let's say she's a lightweight AND ugly) gets put on the show by news management to see if despite her pea brain, she can read a few headlines.
Imus and crew don't like it, so they toss the vilest, smuttiest, most childish insults her way and she responds by not enjoying that.
now...have we lost you yet?
that's wrong in most people's books (i'll bet even yours if it involved you or someone who was a friend of yours)
management will either stop the crap or they will get sued eventually.
it's a pretty simple choice

It is not a comedy show....it has comedy elements like Rob Bartlett who is a stitch but also talks to everyone from Vice President Cheney to Senator Dodd to the best reporters like Andrea Mitchell to the best authors. That's not a zoo crew. So, if you're one of those people, do you want to appear on a program that insults women?
The laws against sexual harrassment don't have exclusions for "comedy shows".
