Oklahoma baseball Coach Larry Cochell has been suspended/relieved of his responsibilities for using racial slurs in describing a player, who, in this case, is African-American.
In an ESPN interview, actually two ESPN interviews, he said something to the effect that a certain player didn't have 'any n*****' in him.
To paraphrase Cochelle, 'There are Whites and there are honkies, just like there are Blacks and there are n*****', so and so doesn't have any n***** in him'.
You can check today's sports section in the Norman, OK, daily.
Should Cochelle be fired? Should he be suspended? Should he be remanded to mandatory diversity sensitivity training?
I'm curious to see if there is a dramatic division on posters here might deal with this issue.
