money...and still mostly abide by a code of ethics..
Ethics does not mean..not profitable.
IN fact..I contend that the more credible you are telling stories on TV..the more POWERFUL you are..and therefore the more PROFITABLE you are.
As soon as the suits figure this out...we will all be running out the brush off our J 101 books.

my station still has reporters who never cover breaking news of the day.
they are given the time and the resources needed to completely report all sides of their stories.
whether it be wasted tax dollars, inept/corrupt politicians, or crooked local businesses, we're on it.
reward: we're #1 across the board. so again, no one ixs making you work there. say goodbye, you're too good for them.
(by the way, i'm assuming that you are trying to dig up juicy stories on your own, not just sitting there surfing the web waiting to be assigned to something.)
