it is not ... NOT ... a singing competition. it is about picking a pop star.
if being a pop star required you to actually sing the Ashley Simpson would never have gone platinum.
image is everything ... and Scotty has an image that people seem to like ... after all he was in the TOP 3 not bottom 3 and has been consistantly giving his audience what it wants.
and by the way ... I am not joking in my evaluation of the voting blocks and how they could play out.Scotty has solid street cred ... working poor parents, arrests, kid out of wedlock ... all appealing to a specific voting block.
besides ... does America need another pudgy blonde so-so country singer? throw a stone down any Nashville street and you will hit 3. |

There is a website called VotefortheWorst.com that encourages people to vote for Scott, just to mess with the AI people. Not sure how much impact it actually has on the results, but Scott is so creepy I wouldn't be surprised if this movement is very large. I don't think I could sleep with his looking at me from a CD holder.
