Though I'm not always a fan of her as an anchor, Carol's a great asset to CNN. A damn great reporter. She's the only woman besides Christiane who could tackle Afghanistan and the mideast successfully, and then come back to Atlanta, fill-in on the shit shift at the last minute, and be geniunely interested as she interviewed the most boring person in the world.
Not to mention that few in this business have one-tenth her character.
