I know that this is a great opportunity. I guess it's just hard for me to accept the reality of the business. The only problem is that I live in a different state than where my TV job is being offered. Oh well, I really want to be a reporter... so I might as well suck it up and just do it. Maybe I can find another part time job over there... Oh well thanks y'all for your input. I needed to hear that... anything else? |

Guy I went to college with, went for a great job at FedEx instead of TV because of the money and having a young family. Where did it get him? 8 years later he was a paid intern while still working for fed ex. Just to get his foot back in the biz... Where is this guy now....after leaving his family for 1 year and half to anchor in the middle of know where...he is now an anchor in top 20 market with a fat paycheck/contract too boot!
The lesson is easy...do what you love...and you'll make a lot of money in the end!
