I'm tired of stations not paying a fair and competitive wage. We have to eat too ya know..we're not looking to get rich but we would not have to work two jobs to make ends meet. I mean we work full time and qualify for welfare? Its no wonder ND's are bitching about the quality of people out there..who wants to work for $6 an hour? |

If you're going to complain about the pay then don't work in TV.
My first job paid 12K. Now, I'm a main anchor at a top 20, and obviously making a heck of a lot more. Good enough to support a family.
If you want it bad enough, bite the bullet. Think about this: you're not going to be paid six dollars forever. Trust me, one day, you'll wear the "I got paid six dollars an hour" experience as a badge of honor. Because we all did it and it sucked, but you moved on.
