It is tougher to sue a public figure but it can be done. You can be sued if you know your comments were false but said them anyway.
It is just basically rude and classless to libel and slur a co-worker. Imus is a guest ultimately in the NBC house and it is very bad manners to slur your host.
It reflects very poorly on Don and on the way his parents raised him.
I've watched my last Imus Show, and so apparently have roughly 20% of his viewers/listeners if you believe the winter ratings book. It is time for Don to retire to the ranch. |
