Southern Kim (ah, love that Red state name),
Bush Jr. only gives a once-a-year press conference because he HATES the MAINSTREAM press and probably hates all Americans who are not in the top 1% unless they sign a loyalty pledge.
Also, maybe the nets didn't want to run his very situational comedy because his domestic and international policies suck.
In fact, he's plummeting fast in all objective polls about his second administration, and is desperately trying to pull out of the tailspin.
You DO care what everyone's politics are, you hypocrite. If it was Bill Clinton I'd bet that you'd be bitching and whining that Slick Willy was keeping you from watching "Friends".
And can the "leader of the free world" bullsh*t. That doesn't give him carte blanc to go on privately-owned television stations anytime he wants.
Frankly, I'd rather watch "Survivor". |

Because I didn't vote for him. Twice. Not that that's any of your business.
Maybe you missed the part where I said it's the president of the United States. I don't care who it is, I want to hear him. Or hopefully one day, her. I respect the office.
I am aware of the polls, his policies, and politics. Which makes it all the more important to hear what he has to say.
Maybe you're not aware of a law that states the airwaves must provide a public service and I can think of no greater public service than carrying a once-a-year press conference with the president.
