She simply wasn't able to get it done. Other women have appeared on Imus and have held their own against the boys lockerroom onslaught. Contessa either isn't bright enough or quick-witted enough to keep up. Bottom line: she's better known today than most of the other anonymous knuckleheads on MSNBC. Message: She was holding her own just fine much to Imus' dismay. That's why he had her removed from the show. None of the other anchors have been subjected to such hostility. They refused to put up with it. At least Contessa had the guts to try.
