Without A Trace was a rerun for a very simple reason.
It was preempted in the east because of the President's speech and q&a.
Network sent down a rerun so that those in the Mountain and Pacific timezones could fill an hour, leading to their late news.
Would it be fair to permit them to show a NEW episode of W-A-T while East/Central couldn't?
Think about it.

Why do they continue to mean anything? Everyone stunts. The sweeps numbers don't reflect reality. The whole thing is a joke that the industry continues to buy into.
