What were they thinking? Not only did they schedule this on the first night of sweeps (not brilliant), but they initially scheduled it to start on the half hour, something that really would have screwed network programming. I thought these people had a clue.
If the topics were related to breaking news, I'd say screw the nets. Tonight's presser was not all at pressing and included virtually no news. |

As I understand, CBS and FOX both were going to blow it off. Can't talk for NBC or ABC.
When the WH bumped it, all networks were able to cover it with minimum damage.
iluvtvnews nailed it. WH screwed up by initially scheduling it on the half-hour. Smart move to move it up 30 minutes.
It was still a non-news event.
Better suited for the cable boys at MSNBC, CNN and FOX.
