they talked to another mom who had twins and then showed the anchor going to the doc..and they talked about infertilty. so she basically admitted to the world she was having fertility problems..not something I would broadcast. she tagged with the whole "we're looking forward to this but realize it will be hard" crap. so it was mainly about her... |

Whether it's the news director or the lowliest producer (which describes most of 'em), if something happens to them, it's suddenly "news".
A producer's apartment is burglarized: "We should do a story on burglary!"
The news director gets in a minor car accident: "We should do a story on how body shops scam their customers!"
A couple of years ago, our newsroom had three reporters and a producer all pregnant at the same time.
To hear them talk, you'd think that they were the first women IN HISTORY who were pregnant...
