if you were to look at the voting demo for the contestants I think you would find that Scotty is still around based on an urban demographic that is voting for him.
watch the way he talks, the songs he sings, the way he dresses, shaves, etc. he is the only black man on the stage. Anwar was a little too femine, Vonzell is much too much the Diva, but Scotty is keeping it real and playing to a specific audience.
we are talking about voting blocks here. the final 3 will be Bo, the blond and Scotty. Bo and the blond will split that mid-America vote and Scott will be one of the final two. sure he will lose but what the hell, he'll have shocked the world. |

Scott is a physically and personally repulsive dude. He's white trash, a wife beater, has a major attitude problem, and moreover, CANNOT sing. He is consistantly flat.
This is all kinda funny because when AI first started four years ago, I thought the whole thing was stupid. Now I never miss it, like 35 million other Americans.
Here's the bottom line: people love a good competition - joke if you want - but these young people have guts, heart and soul....and that IS the definition of being American.
