Is a great songwriter. Wrote hits for many other performers before he became a star himself. Funny thing is, I remember an MTV video with Bolton in the early 80's where he sang a kick ass rock song. He disappeared for awhile after that, then remerged as a soul singing crooner. Found his niche and did pretty well.
