Never, ever call |

I've found a job opening in a city at a station that I've always wanted to work at. Any advice on what is the most effective?
1. Sending a resume adressed to the ND at the station? or to the ND care of HR? or both?
2. I know most NDs are busy (the job is in a top ten market), but I really want to campaign for this job. Is a call to the ND too much a week or so after I submit my resume?? Will that show intrest and initiative or just harrassment and be annoying?
Any Advice would be appreciated. |

Please...don't be tempted. It's a bad thing.
As to your first question, I think you should send it to the news director. HR tends to be a black hole. Don't take any chances.
Did I mention not to call?
