I apologize for not recognizing your sarcasm on first reading. My bad.
It's just that the Bushitters out there are so zealous in their GOP domination and hatred of diversity that it wouldn't surprise me if they really did prefer 1500 deaths to Teresa Heinz Kerry. I mean, it was credible enough (just check out the crap on FreeRepublic and you'll know what I mean).
In actuality, "lympicdoping" or whatever his name is, is a prime example of the "RED" a**hat to which I refer. You know the type - the kind that plasters his Ford Explosion or Chevy Backhoe or pretend Hummer with tons of patriotic magnetic ribbons that could be better recycled and used to fortify a REAL Hummer in Iraq - where such vehicles belong.
They say, you know: "We like Laura Bush 'cause she's so nice!" As if you can run a government on "nice". I rather think she fiddles while Rome burns. Gas prices go up, her husband can't balance a budget but can pass legislation to keep a vegetable tubed up, her husband travels around America promoting programs that MOST Americans oppose, real wages for 95% Americans goes down under the GOP, yet they give tax breaks for those poor estate owners whose estates are valued $3 million or above.
But, hey, she's nice. F*ck nice. Give me brains and cohones any time.
Yeah, Mrs. Bush is nice just like Katie Couric is "nice". A real American sweetheart. |

is not "nice". She's perky. And a celebrity. Whathahell does that have to do with Laura Bush?
Forgive me. I've never thought of myself as an apologist for El Presidente's wife.
But Good Lord! Comparing that Couric woman to the Pres's wife is so off the mark.
Get your respective heads out of your asses.
TV is TV. Real life is an altogether different thing.
In Real Life, La Couric matters not at all. Nor does Ms. Bush.
That doesn't change that one is a self-absorbed prima-donna (in the business by choice)and the other is somebody who's along for the ride. And traveling rather gracefully.
Please please please tell me most of the people who've posted here do not consider theselves journalists.
So why did I post, right?
