I will be attending law school this fall, and I am interested in getting a 1L summer internship at a firm rather than bartending next summer. Is there any general advice for 1L's seeking summer jobs? |

I just finished my first year and am working this summer. My advice is make sure that you get good grades. If you go to the interview in a polyester suit and have the personality of a wet brick, chances are you will still get the job if you are in the top 10-20% of your class.
