I want to move into international developement strategy consulting and I am wondering the best way to go about it. I worked for Capital One for 3.5 years as an analyst so I know I have the skill set to perform well at the job, but not necessarily the knowledge base. I am applying to biz school now but I wanted to get some experience in the field before that so I can determine if it is a job fit for me. Any ideas on how to best go about getting a six to seven month assignment in this field? Which companies should I look at/talk with?
