If you are aiming at McK, BCG, Bain et al, just forget it pal. It is tough, but it is the best advice I can give you. You should have chosen a top MBA if you wanted to make into these firms. With your choice, no top consulting firm will ever take you.
I am sorry this is not good news, but it is better than giving you crap about keep trying and all that. You do not stand the slightest choice.
And believe me, I know what I am talking about (HBS and McKinsey, by the way). |

How more arrogant can u get? I'm even surprised u made it into HBS or Mckinsey.
FYI, I went to a part-time, little-known B-school program (not event top 15). Because of my drive, determination and experience, I go a job at Mckinsey. I am know the equivalent of a VP and doing fine - no HBS, as you claim.
While it helps, Mckinsey people are not stupid, and see talent went it crosses their path.
As far as you are concerned, you've got it wrong - and, adjust your attitude, you are going to fall flat on your face one day.
